Dr. Bird is an optometrist, a primary health professional for the eye. As an eye doctor, he examines, diagnoses, treats and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system and eye, and identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye. He is licensed to prescribe medications, spectacle lenses, contacts lenses, and  counsel his patients regarding surgical and non-surgical options that meet their visual needs.
